Why this resource guide?
We believe it is important that students with support needs know where to go for appropriate support. Sometimes that help is not available within the educational institution, but rather outside it. The Help Guide makes it easier to quickly find the right external organizations and agencies.
What does the resource guide offer?
On hulpwijzer.onbelemmerdstuderen.nl you will find an overview of support organizations and tools outside of school that can offer support on various aspects. Think of advocates, organizations with expertise in specific support needs, and agencies that advise on, for example, housing, finances, work, welfare and legal questions. There are also various tools that can help with this. The students can work with these themselves.
For whom is the help guide intended?
The Help Guide has been developed for students with support needs in secondary and higher education. It is also a useful resource for education professionals who supervise these students and want to refer them to appropriate external help.
