Information card for support in dyscalculia
Severe math and mathematics problems and dyscalculia
Every student, including every student with dyscalculia, is different. Think for example of preferences in learning style, intelligence, upbringing, age, character and so on. The information card provides an overview of positive characteristics and impeding characteristics. However, it is not so much about characteristics as it is about the extent to which the student experiences obstacles during the study. Students with disabilities or support needs may experience similar barriers and also benefit from the tips included in this information card. The tips relate to:
- contact hours
- independent study tasks
- testing and examination
- internship and graduation assignments / theses.
Have a conversation with the student to find out what helps or works best.
